  1. Lone Star Buttons is a new company I just started in 2011, but I have over 10 years in the button making business. I used to make buttons under the name Super Pezhead Buttons. I closed it down when I got a "real" job 6 years ago but the passion was always there and now I am back and better than ever.
  2. Lone Star Buttons is run by me, Adam Jones. As stated in the above question, I ran Super Pezhead in the past. I do have help from friends and family too when it is needed.
  3. Currently we make 1", 1 ½" , and 2 ¼" buttons.
  4. Right now no. We are just sticking with our 3 sizes. But yes, there are plans in the future to add more sizes.
  5. All orders are printed at a local copy shop similar to a Kinkos. They have the highest quality laser printers around, so your design always looks sharp and very crisp. The button parts Lone Star Buttons uses are made by one on the largest button parts suppliers in the United States and are of the highest quality.
  6. You can have 1 design for every 50 buttons you order.
  7. Your design can be made with any type of computer design program as long as the final file is saved at 300 DPI in jpg or tif format. If you do not know how to do that, just make your design 3 times larger than the actual print size. For example, if your want a 1" button, make your design 3" or bigger, and I can shrink it down to fit. And it is best to send your designs via e-mail.
  8. 300 DPI stands for 300 dots per inch. The dots per inch is the number of ink dots that are printed on the page per inch. The higher the DPI, the more ink dots on the page the higher quality of the print.
  9. If you have questions about whether a design will work on a button, e-mail us the design and we will let you know if it will work or not. Also, if you print your design the actual size of the button, you should get a general idea of how it will look.
  10. First class shipping is included in the price of the buttons. If you prefer another shipping option other than US Mail, we can arrange it but you will have to pay for any additional shipping charges.
  11. From the time we receive your design and payment until your order is shipped is usually 1-2 weeks.
  12. YES! Rush orders will be handled on a case by case basis. Contact us by e-mail or phone and we can discuss your rush situation and determine if Lone Star Buttons can meet your schedule. We will not promise anything we cannot deliver.
  13. The cost of a rush order will depend on the situation. It will be determined on a case by case basis.
  14. No, we do not match prices. Our prices are our prices.
